$108.00
A Vajrayana-style deity practice inspired by Tara with a visualization and mantra of Gaia that dharma teacher, Cynthia Jurs received during intensive practice in retreat and has worked with privately for many years.
This unique new practice of Tara Gaia will be taught on Thurs-Sun March 18-21 in an online retreat via Zoom. This very special retreat will include a transmission ceremony, teachings, group practice and Q&A.
There will be 4 sessions, one two hour session per day beginning at 10:00 am Pacific Time/ 11:00 am Mountain time / 1:00 pm Eastern time / 6:00 pm Greenwich Mean Time. This is a live retreat based on direct transmission. Full attendance is required. Recordings will not be available.
Once one has received the teachings, an ongoing monthly practice group can be joined to deepen one’s understanding and keep the practice alive. For those familiar with the Earth Treasure Vase Global Healing Meditation, the Tara Gaia practice can serve as a profound enhancement to this practice as well.

Introduction to Tara Gaia
This video is an hour-long conversation between Cynthia Jurs and David Nicol recorded on January 25, 2020 to introduce Tara Gaia to those who would like to learn more about:
- Who is Tara and how the adaptation from a practice of Tara to one of Gaia occurred
- How Cynthia became a Lama in the Vajrayana tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and this new practice of Tara Gaia emerged
- How although Buddhism does not traditionally value the Earth as a source of enlightenment, at this time when we are all being called to wake up in relation to Mother Earth, this practice has evolved and can serve as a profound spiritual support
- Introduction to methods of practicing in the Vajrayana tradition using visualization and mantra recitation
- A brief teaching on the Gaia Mantra with group recitation.
